AIVOGLIA opens its first store with arteficegroup. Bologna's gelato comes to Milan.

Branding & Communication | Retail Experience

Branding and Retail Design for the first gelateria aiming to promote the Bolognese gelato tradition.
"In Bologna, do we do things with taste? Aivoglia! And ice cream? Do we know how to do that well too? Aivoglia!"
A new form of indulgence, ice creams paired with spreadable creams and a Majani chocolate tortellino (Bologna's excellent chocolate since 1796) to declare its origin and add a touch of originality.

Arteficegroup has executed the AIVOGLIA project, Bologna in an ice cream, building the brand identity and implementing the Retail Design project for the first store inaugurated in the heart of Milan, at Via Torino 77.
Starting from the ritual of having gelato under Bologna's arcades, all positioning and brand identity elements were identified, Visual identity signs were constructed, choosing vibrant colors and a modern illustrative language that encapsulates the symbolism of being Bolognese and living carefree but tastefully. All communication materials were created for dressing the new store, for on-site consumption, along with a special collectible and reusable Experience Box in wood, crafted to relive the AIVOGLIA ice cream experience at home.

The team involved worked with alongside the client in selecting the location for the new opening.
The store, located in the center of Milan on a highly trafficked street, frequented by both locals and foreign tourists, was designed with the goal of reviving the taste of Bologna's gelato, making it visible and recognizable. The aim was to recreate the atmosphere of Bologna for gelato enthusiasts under the historic porticoes.

The true challenge of the Retail Design project was to convey a highly eye-catching identity in a high-traffic and competitive context within a compact 17 sqm store. The team meticulously planned the layout to create a highly personalized yet rational environment. This involved rethinking structural, electrical, and plumbing components, demolishing and rebuilding walls and partitions, constructing screens, informative areas, and institutional communication spaces. The counter was projected outward, engaging the public with an immersive effect at the front, while the back was designed as a practical and functional workspace.

To support the communication of the new gelateria, the website www.aivoglia.it was created, and Instagram and Facebook channels were opened.
A successful and highly visible project that testifies to the group's creative-productive strategy.
