Pema renovates the visual identity system of the packagings
PEMA is a pioneer of the organic food, they developped since the end of the second worldwar a range of bakery products exclusively based on 0 km rye. From Bavaria the brand exported their idea throughout Europe, establishing themselves as one of the most expert brands in the sector.
The need of a brand reflecting the values of the brand
PEMA products were characterized by a Packaging lacking in information gerarchy and by a back image with no emotional involvement. So the german company asked BrandLanguageDesign® of Artefice Group to modernize the packaging in full respect of the brand identity. Artefice Group redesigned the visual impact, introducing strong colored crosshatches, that immediately differetiate on shelf and exhalt the photographic approach of the product. The bread is pictured in recipes that suggest other uses. The newfont and the hierarchy of the messages allow an easier qualitative interpretation of the product.
